This Dictaphone ExpressWriter DTP-1740 cassette dictating and trancriber machine offers all the latest dictation and transcription features designed to simplify your document processing. 
You won't be disappointed in this feature-rich machine with its easy to read three digit tape-counter which displays total dictation length in minutes and tenths of minutes. It also simplifies your work flow with up to nine alert/warning tones which play to indicate signals including End-of-Letter, Priority or Instruction and no cassette is loaded. A lot of power and control in an ergonomic, small footprint desktop Dictaphone transcriber dictation machine.
  • The DTP-1740 Dictaphone transcriber Expresswriter dictating and transcribing machines include the DTP-1740 Dictaphone Machine ONLY.  Other Mini Cassette ExpressWriter Dictaphone transcribers and dictating machines include a transcripiton headset 2000031 and transcriber foot pedal 502845 (DTP-1742), a DTP-862300 hand held microphone (DTP-1741), a DTP-878844 Dictaphone deluxe headset and foot pedal (DTP-1745), or all three Dictaphone accessories 862300 hand held microphone, 502845 transcriber foot pedal, and 2000031 transcription headset (DTP-1743).
  • Similar to the Dictaphone 3740 Micro tape transcriber and 2740 Dictaphone Standard cassette transcriber, this Dictaphone ExpressWriter Plus 1740 transcriber and dictation machine will provide the familiar features and functions you've used for years.
  • The ExpressWriter DTP-1740 is very similar to the Dictaphone ExpressWriter Plus DTP-1750, but with a few less features.  The 1750 dictating and transcribing machine has conference recording, a large LCD discplay, voice activated recording, and more!
