A multi-purpose unit, the Dictaphone 1743 allows you to both dictate and transcribe on the same machine. It comes with a hand-microphone with slide switch operation for easy dictating and also a standard headset and foot pedal to transcribe quickly and efficiently! The base unit has the great Dictaphone feature-rich quality with its easy to read three digit tape-counter which displays total dictation length in minutes and tenths of minutes. It also simplifies your work flow with up to nine alert/warning tones which play to indicate signals including End-of-Letter, Priority or Instruction and no cassette is loaded.
